ADMISSION NOTICE FOR B.Ed REGULAR
COURSE,
(SESSION 2010-11)
(A Sikh minority Status Institution
permanently affiliated to University
of Jammu, Jammu )
Applications on prescribed forms
from Local / Non-Locals (for 50% of
total intake towards minority quota
seats of Sikh community) are invited
for admission to the B.Ed regular
course session 2010-11.
Eligibility: Candidates must have
passed their bachelors degree
examination in the faculties of
Arts, Science, Social Sciences,
Commerce, (Under 10+2+3 or 10+2+2 /
10+1+3 pattern), engineering,
medicine, agriculture, veterinary
science, forestry, music and fine
arts from University of Jammu or any
other statutory university in India
registered with association of
Indian Universities and have secured
at least 40% (39.5% is treated as
40%) of the aggregate marks
in the qualifying examination in
case of general category and pass
percentage for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/ALC/RBA/Disabled
candidates)
Prospectus -Cum-Application Form; can
be obtained from the college counter
on all working days between 9 a.m. &
2 p.m. on cash payment of Rs 500/-. If
required by post a written request
accompanied by a demand draft of Rs
550/- in favour of Managing Trustee,
M.C.Khalsa Education Trust, Jammu
drawn on Punjab & Sind bank,
M.C.Khalsa High School, Chand Nagar,
Jammu be sent to the Principal,
M.C.Khalsa College of Education,
Chand Nagar, Jammu-180001.
Applicant’s postal address with
postal pin code should be clearly
shown in the request form for quick
dispatch of
prospectus-cum-application form. The
request for postal supply shall
tentatively be accepted up to 20th
July, 2010. Application forms
complete in all respects must be
submitted by local / non-local
candidates in person or by
registered post so as to reach the
college office on or before 26th
July, 2010 without late fee and with
late fee of Rs. 250/- upto 5th Aug,2010,
till 2 p.m. Admission shall be made
on the basis of merit at graduation
level for which counseling schedule
is given in prospectus.
Non-Sikh
candidates local/non-locals can also
apply for consideration against
general category unfilled seats /
management quota seats. Local
candidates whose result for B,A/B.Sc/B.Com
is still awaited can also apply but
their form shall be considered to
the production of marks certificate
for having passed the qualifying
examination by 26th July, 2010 /
within three days of declaration of
result by the university concerned.
Separate
hostel facilities for boys and girls
are available on payment of dues as
mentioned in the prospectus.
